Did you use a filter post production over the image to give it the 'dirty' look? If so, well done; I've seen so many people (including my earlier work) that don't use them properly. This, however, has been used to achieve a visually pleasing effect. The subject matter is lovely, though, as I've said in a previous comment on another piece, I might consider using a different colour for the boat. Though it does work well here, it sort of blends in with the colour of it's background (the skin) and doesn't stand out in a manner of which I'm guessing that you wanted (ie- to be one of the main focuses of the image, visually or symbolically).

However, the framing and colours work well with each other to give an ominous and moody feel. Without sounding like a butt kiss, I would prefer this sort of photography in galleries than I would those horrible 'snapshots' that are so popular today. Brilliant job, 4.5-5/5 (from a photography student). Also favourites :)

That's a difficult one if you're not from the UK lol. I'm studying in Ipswich, which, if you think of mainland UK as something of a human shape, it's the sticking-out butt part (the bulge at the bottom before the flat bit). About an hour and half half away from London.

Anyway, I'm glad the comments were helpful, you've done some really good work there (hence the favourites) :) Keep at it, you have a beautiful and unique eye for it
